(It's) 1943, (during) the second world war
阿嬷年轻的时候
A time when grandma was young
爷爷爱他那么多
Grandpa loved her so much
他们感情很深
Their love was so deep
但是爷爷身负重任
But at the time grandpa held a heavy burden
就在离乡的那夜
On the night he left his village
给了阿嬷一个吻
He gave grandma a light kiss
轻声说到
And softly said
我要离去别再哭泣
I need to leave, please stop crying
不要伤心请你相信我
Don't be hurt, please believe in me
要等待我的爱

阿嬷躺在病床上

Holding his rough hands
阿嬷的泪水开始流
Grandma's tears start to fall

I know this story is pretty straightforward
I will find someone
To accompany me along the life without him
Settle down, good career and everything
Since he made the choice he thinks is right
I can only give him my blessings
I can't love the person that I really want to
What else can I do?
The person I love is not my lover
Every inch in his heart has been taken by the other person
he's really happy and this happiness is cruel
Makes me love and hate how can his love be that deep
The person I love has a love
The look in their eyes tells it all, it's impossible for me

it doesn't matter, as long as we love each other, put the heart together. it will soon become...

so ppl, ask yourself that are you really love ur partner,not because of the $$$?
