pn maha was telling us that having breakfast is important for us because breakfast provides us the energy for metabolism...if we do not have balanced diet in our daily life, we might get diseases or whatever...i remembered she mentioned the word "gastric". i was so hungry that moment...~ after pn maha's period was bm...we had to go library actually but we took half the period to be there. i was sitiing in the library and suddenly chat with ris and we talked abt gastric. i guess, the gastric fell in love with me~ i got gastric!!!
it was gastric, not gas! i went back to class and rested and i skipped my duty today...sorry, amzar! XD it was recess time, i went to PBSM room and looked for gastric pill but they dont have.=( *not bcuz of what, they just scared that the students allergic to some medicine and th student takes wrong pill and sent to hospital, it will get worst!* i went to canteen to buy food to fill in my stomach so "they" wont digest my stomach. i bought a plate of rice with egg and kentang. i ate 2-3spoons of it then paul told me that i cant eat oily food. so i gave him the plate of rice,*dont waste food* and i bought sandwiches. wen hui belanja me to drink warm sky juice. lolx. i ate very slowly and i about to cry becuz it's reqally very painful....ough! chng yi waited for me, he asked me to go pbsm room to rest but i refused to do so. i decided to attend bio lesson, thanks alot that he helped me to take my books in my class to me. dunno why, i was so so so painful untill i feel like dying...quek came and asked whether i want gastric pill and he asked frmv yu hong(scout den) for in...unfortunately, all the pills in the scout den cannot eat liao...=( yu hong then bring me to pbsm room, i felt like vomitting and i went in the toilet but i got nothing to vomit. lol.. haha! yu hong cant go in to the girl's toilet. >.<
an afternoon session girl got gastric pill and she took it for me...thank you! when i was lying down on the bed resting, nin min came. followed by zan hong, nasirah and yen peng~ thanks for visitting me. i felt so guilty that they skipped the bio lesson though got permission frm teacher. so i decided to go back to bio lab with them. once i went in to bio lab, many of my classmates asked me whether im ok...yes, i was ok for thta moment. suddenly, i rushed to the toilet and i vomitted. i guess i vomitted the sandwiches...eww...lol. well, thanks guys and love u guys lot. lol.
In the duodenum, gastric acid is neutralized by sodium bicarbonate. This also blocks gastric enzymes that have their optima in the acid range of pH. The secretion of sodium bicarbonate from the pancreas is stimulated by secretin. This polypeptide hormone gets activated and secreted from so-called S cells in the mucosa of the duodenum and jejunum when the pH in duodenum falls below 4.5 to 5.0. The neutralization is described by the equation:
HCl + NaHCO3 → NaCl + H2CO3
The carbonic acid instantly decomposes into carbon dioxide and water, then gets eliminated through urine.
